Congratulations to all the students who competed at the Manawatu Secondary Schools  Athletics Championships at the weekend in Palmerston North.  We had a number of outstanding results.  The school was represented with pride.  Well done. A free health check will be offered to all Year 9 students by the Public Health Nurse at the college.  Notices were given to your Years 9’s Friday 8th to bring home.  This is available in pdf format below. Should you not wish your child to have this health check please complete the “OPT OFF” form and return to the school office for the attention of the Public Health Nurse. The school office will be open from January 22. Prefects are to return early for training on January 25. Y9 and 13 students will have a day together on Tuesday 29th January, before the whole school returns the following day. All attending students are expected to be in correct school uniform from Tuesday 29th January. 2012 has been another busy year with many changes. We are having to adjust to  change being the norm‘. We began with a roll explosion from the mid 600 to 730. We introduced a new student management system KAMAR which has made information and data collection easier and more accessible to all staff and seven new members of staff were welcomed to our College. There are changes a foot in education and for secondary education this has been seen through the introduction of Educational Pathways. Educational Pathways is a guarantee of free tertiary opportunities for all learners to achieve a foundation NCEA Level 2 qualification with clear pathways to further education and work.
